Discourse Analysis

Johanna's presentation on discourse analysis has lit a couple of fires for me. I feel as if this may be the tool to look at my interviews with. I wasn't feeling especially productive before. My intuitive ways were not especially revealing. But this is a method and a conceptual framework that suits me and the work. I have purchased James Paul Gee's discourse analysis text and find it pretty readable -- maybe readable for someone obsessed by things like this. Aside from turning discourse analysis on my interviews, I'm going to use this method for my Policy paper!
