Just tried doing some coding with James Paul Gee's schema of seven Discourse Analysis frames. The seven frames are:

1. Significance
2. Practices
3. Identity
4. Relationships
5. Politics/Resources
6. Connecting
7. Sign Systems

Did not work. Basically, every code could be applied to every passage of the policy. These are questions that can be asked of every document, not characteristics that are "present" or "not" in a passage. Next step, look it over and ask seven questions. Brainstorm. Write.
